Cover Crops

Cover crops are grasses, legumes, or brassicas used to protect and improve soil conditions. They are usually killed off 2-4 weeks prior to planting the next crop, or by winterkill. They can increase organic matter, and help control early season weeds. Return on investment may not be noticeable in short-term, but can enhance your long-term goals
